NextWindow Add-on, Multi-touch Supporting Touch Frames

For those customers, who have a large-format LCD or plasma monitor and wish to convert it into a touch screen, Touch Screen Middle East supplies a simple solution from NextWindow that can be fitted in minutes and will convert most professional monitors from 30" up to 65" into a multi-touch screen.

The NextWindow system comprises a frame, with integrated safety glass and uses optical touch technology, which offers accuracy, clarity, flexibility, reliability, durability, as well as support for multi-touch gestures.
These benefits make NextWindow´s optical system the touch technology of choice for leading PC manufacturers such as HP, Dell, Sony and Lenovo, as well as integrators including Kortek and U-Touch.

Installation is very straight forward: first the NextWindow frame is clipped over the monitor bezel and held in place by restraining straps on the rear, then, after connecting the supplied USB cable between the frame and the PC, the frame is calibrated by touching the four corners of the screen.

Major applications for add-on touch frames include digital signage, directory information and way-finding, wildlife exhibits, retail displays, digital whiteboards, interactive education, trade shows, real estate advertising, exhibitions and many more.

Which NextWindow frame is correct for my monitor?

Important:
Please note that monitors with side or bottom speakers, or with curved, non-rectangular casings, cannot be adapted with NextWindow touch frames.

To determine which NextWindow touch frame is suitable for your display, do the following:

STEP 1
Refer to the data sheet or on-line specification for your monitor´s manufacturer and model number, for example "NEC LCD4010" and look for the "dimensions":

STEP 2
Make a note of the width and height in mm without stand:

STEP 3
Refer to the chart below and look for the closest frame size width and height. You may not find a frame of exactly the same size, in which case select a frame that is slightly larger than your monitor dimensions, for example:
